Within the framework of serving the local community, a ceremony was held on Thursday morning, corresponding to 11/16/2023, in the hall of the Libyan House for Culture and Science, honoring Zawia municipal employees participating in the training programs that were implemented by Zawia University within the implementation of the activities of the research and education project to build urban institutions for local development (REBUILD), which is supervised by It was implemented by the International Cooperation Office at Zawia University, where three training programs were implemented as follows:
1- The course on promoting sustainable and comprehensive local development includes (principles and strategies of local sustainable development, urban strategic planning, and the role and responsibilities of Libyan local authorities).
2- Democracy Strengthening Course: It includes (strategies and tools for comprehensive participation, accountability, transparency, good governance, and crisis management).
3- Work Tools Course: It includes (project management, multi-stakeholder and multi-sector project management, and public policy formulation).
The closing ceremony was held in the presence of the Dean of the Municipality of Zawia, the Undersecretary of the Municipality, and the Director of the International Cooperation Office, Director of the Center for Leadership and Innovation, and Director of the Center for Human Resources and Training Development and Development, on behalf of Zawia University.
