The International Cooperation Office at Zawia University held a series of workshops. These workshops fall within the implementation of the fourth work package for the Ibtikar project.


The International Cooperation Office (ICO) at the University of Zawia organized a series of workshops during January 2 to 4, 2024, with the participation of faculty members and researchers. These workshops are part of the implementation of the WP4 of the IBTIKAR Project, which aims to enhance the scientific research environment at the university.
On the concluding day, the university president participated in the events, expressing his gratitude to the organizing team for these workshops. The president affirmed his full support for these projects, which focus on scientific research, encouraging attendees to actively participate in international projects and programs that enhance the university’s standing.
The workshops covered several topics, including a presentation of the Innovation Project and the identification of research priorities for the university. As part of the workshop program, a visit to the laboratories of the College of Petroleum and Gas Engineering and Renewable Energy took place, where challenges in research within Libyan educational institutions and the impact of changes in higher education regulations in Libya on scientific research were discussed.
The workshops witnessed discussions and the exchange of ideas, leading to important recommendations that will be included in the final report of the Innovation Project.
